Hi all: "Early" starting new thread tonight. Gary! Was lurking on Facebook (so many LG pages there I can't keep up!) and noticed you'd had to cancel the trip. Bummer!
Heard the commotion & rushed through ... to see Odin settling on the eggs! Thanks for the fish report Cirrus!

That is good!! 2 fish a day is normal for this stage .
I am happy he is eating the head to kill it before he brings it to the nest. Before the eggs were laid he was bringing the fish with the head on. A flopping fish could crack the eggs.
All is well at the nest :)

What is he doing around that log with all the lichen on? Surely he's not catching insects now!!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Great to see Odin arrive with the second fish of the day.

I thought that yesterday OG. He is a very house proud chap.
I stil hope EJ brings him back a little - she had a feast this morning. Good boy Odin.
No fish returned for Odin.
Oh well, I was away when EJ returned. Possibly, Odin may be away fishing for himself.
Glad to see that fish have been mentioned, above! All looks peaceful.
I noticed that,Brenda. It looked like he'd eaten more than half of it anyway before he handed it over to her. She's chirping away just now don't think he can be far away. It sounds like communication rather than a call.
