Hallo all:
OG: Yay!!! I'm so glad to hear from you! Wonderful that you feel good and were released to go home. I'm sure you were delighted. Like Annette, I'm not sure how one rests and keeps moving. :-) Please don't try to do too much.
So happy you've posted! Find a good book to read or a some good TV to watch. Take good care of yourself.
Good to hear everything went well OG, and that you are back home, away from snoring ladies.
My interpretation is to rest when there is anything you do not want to do, and to keep moving at anything more to your liking.
Ha ha ROSY! I couldn't have put it any better :-)
ROSY: Brilliant interpretation. (I think a lot of people - not OG of course - employ that strategy even when they're not sick. :-)
I like that idea, ROSY.
OH is making dinner but I had to open salmon wrapping and put in dish "because you can do it without making a mess", top salmon with pesto "because you know how much" and put seasoning into roasting tray for savoury wedges "ditto" - I have now had to remind him of the timings - yet again! But he did prepare the veg, and I am not grumbling, really!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Welcome home OG and so pleased you are feeling so well.
Yes men can do some things but not in the right order and there timings are pretty rubbish.
I didn't have snoring problems in Raigmore as unbeknown to me OH had arranged an amenity bed (single room with shower) at a small cost which was really cheap as I never had a bill.
I also have problems with anaesthetic and am usually sick for a couple of days. Once had an op at a private hospital and anaesthetist from Australia said he could sort that. Best I have ever been and when asking what he did I was shown my feet..little pin holes as he had used acupuncture.
so pleased we went away last week to enjoy the colours as noticed on Daisy walk all the reds and browns are falling off:-(
Of course you are not grumbling, OG! EE is like my OH, very willing but cooking is not his forte. Salmon with pesto and veg wedges - yum.
OG- so glad that you are back home again, no more snoring ladies! Hope you manage to keep resting and moving, but do not overdo it, look after yourself!
Wendyb: Interesting about the acupuncture solution.
OG: I guess it's nice to feel needed, but messes are okay if you aren't the one who has to clean it up (but then you'd be the one "who does it properly.")
Annette probably all in the mind but who knows.
When OH and I got together I went away and my girls 11 and 14 extolled his culinary talents as all components of a roast came together together. Could he do that now..NO!!
