HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY AUTUMNAL EQUINOX!
The equinox is Wednesday, 23 September. Info HERE.
Last week's chat thread is HERE. The nights are starting to turn cool in Indiana, and the leaves are just hinting at turning colors.
Everyone have a great week!

I'm not sure but things definitely point in that direction. Maybe they were separated at birth.
cows kept entirely inside is a disgrace. I remember Mum telling me that a closeby farmer said that when winter was approaching and he had to put them indoors, they really did not want to go
a few pics now of Budapest palace and the marvellous view.
Lovely pics, Dibnlib. Not a city that Iv'e ever thought about going to, but OH has. Watch this space!!
Wow! Dibnlib! What a great place! Thanks for posting....
Finally, after my OH berating several people on the phone, we now have our TV up & running properly. (It was cutting out at intervals, making it hard to watch anything as it took ten minutes to get back to working again afterwards -then yesterday The Man installed a new Control Box and we got nothing at all!!)

Lovely bright morning here, but a dull and damp afternoon. Baked shortbread, bakewell tart and blueberry muffins; even have beef bourgignon in the oven for dinner!
Joining the indoor cow debate - I think it is so unnatural, and you only have to watch when cows are returned to pasture in spring to see how they prefer it to their winter quarters - they kick up their heels, swish their tails and positively dance with glee!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
OG- I'm coming for dinner!
Yum!!
Have done all the ironing plus dusting, hoovering and washing. We had cold pork tonight (left over from roast dinner last night) with oven chips, salad and chutney. I will bake before our Danish friends arrive but OH and I can't indulge, these days, which is really sad. We used to enjoy something with our morning coffee and something with afternoon coffee. Obviously we cannot be burning off the calories, because we have had to stop almost everything except breakfast, lunch and dinner. Getting older is such a pain :-( I've never had a large appetite but my OH has such a sweet tooth, even though his general appetite is smaller.
HEATHER - you have been busy!
Of course, we had garden veg with the beef - runner beans and courgettes still producing! No more peas, and tomatoes slowing down now. Plenty of potatoes to keep well into winter.
