As usual, Monty is still with us into September (although his family all seem to have gone) - and there's always Blue 24....

Thank you, KATE!
I didn't know if this was Monty or a reappeared Blue24. Going to have to replay it.
There was a lot of racket going on at the nest at the time. We never got to see who was making it.

Monty is now tucking into his mullet with gusto :-)

OK, the pesky "crow" pestered Monty back to his perch, so there is not a spare osprey around ;-)
Simply terrific videos - I so enjoyed them all . What a laugh some are too. Many thanks SCYLLA - still downloading some. :)
Yay! We've still got His Gorgeous Montyness! That buzzard was just stunning as well.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I think Monty is on the perch. There is a lightish outline on his favourite side of the perch.
Super pics and vid, thank you once again. Lovely to see he is still with us despite a good northerly wind persuading him it is time to fly.

I agree, Sheila--pale blob must be Monty.
Kind regards, Ann

Unless it's an owl ;-D (I'm just being mischievous.)
I've been catching up on a week's worth of Starr Ranch downloads (with very little of interest to show for all that hand-breaking scrolling) and am now exhausted, which I was before I started. I hate leaving the nest alone for the night but...
G'night. If I'm late in the morning please leave instructions ;-)
Monty is standing proudly on his perch... unless it's a blob.
Brightened:
He's just flown.
The sound is very flakey - anyone else's? I dread that it's a fault here :o
