I'm just going to do another Odin pic from yesterday.
EDIT:
Complete with fishtail frame, the last we saw of him yesterday:
IMAGICAT
I hope you all don't mind me crashing the party but catching up by reading all the posts for today I would like to make a comment on the Great Spotted Woodpecker. Enlarging the picture there is obvious red on the top of it's head which makes a this years juvenile. Cannot determine the sex until such time as the red on the head had gone.
Did I hear an Osprey chirp????
EDIT, probably not, just wishful thinking.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Mini intruders on the nest. Cam has zoomed in a little, but not close enough to ID them all. Great Tits are obvious but there were others too.
I too think that Odin has probably set off on migration. Having said that, what do you bet he now appears?!!!! Hello all.
Hi Rusty. I think that it more than likely that Odin has gone. It's August 22, his most popular leaving date. I feel quite sad, but I'm glad that both he and EJ were in top form before migration.
Antonicus Many thanks for your comment on the age of the GSW seen earlier.
Hello Rusty. Well, he has kept us waiting before, and then appeared later in the afternoon.
The male Redstart was on the nest/campost on Wednesday.
Close up of the ENS nest.

We all started out as crashers, ANTONICUS, so you are welcome. Thank you for the education :-)
Moffer, your PM's have got me in absolute fits!!!!!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Glad I've cheered your day Clare.
Still ENS. Nothing on FB or the blog. I'm going to take some time out, but I'm recording, just in case. SYAL :)
24 hours exactly since we last saw Odin on cam.
