We await clarification on yesterday's intruders, as the Centre seemed to be even more confused than we were by the fast-moving action - much of which was sans EJ, who was punished for her absence with derisory fish.
Beautiful young (sounded it, anyway) female:
Blue-ringed (but it could be an artefact in the poor stream?) male:
Nice pose:
Unusual osprey with multi-coloured tail:
I don't know who's who or what's what.
IMAGICAT
From out of nowhere:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I wonder where EJ is? Has she gone for a pre-migration wander?
Gone again.

Any date EJ chooses to migrate on is too soon for me. We've got three weeks left of them at most.
Odin is on the nest with a long thin stick
He is very watchful

New view. Odin (I think) on the fish perch. EDIT, correction, it's EJ
Actually, it could be EJ
Cam has panned from EJ on the fish perch to the distant dead tree and Odin is there :)
Lovely to see them both around, even though EJ hasn't been on the nest yet today.
I have to go for a while, but I'm recording, just in case.
Cam has panned back to EJ.
