Yesterday, after we spent overnight with an unusual side view of the nest, Odin began the day bringing EJ a fish, and then he brought her another in the course of the day. We did not have sound for the beginning hours, depriving us of the skydancing Odin must have performed in the early morning hours.
Here is picture of our couple on the nest posted by scylla yesterday, after EJ had consumed her breakfast.
But today we begin the day with sound and the sight of a windy glary nest. No hinterlands.

Hi MC. Hope you had a good rest.
Good morning, all. Patily, I hope you have a fantastic time!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
CATCH-UP
Overnight there has been some of the worst buffering I've ever seen!
Skydancing started 0423hr, Odin landed 0428hr:
He left @ 0431hr, and during his inactive stay (only his head moved!) there were 15 buffers !!!
More skydancing from 0509hr, Odin landed again @ 0514hr (am just making a point here!):
Flew (or rather, disappeared) 0519hr:
No DAYCAM time, as there was continuous buffering for 20 minutes until the half-hourly refresh kicked in and EJ was on the nest in colour:
Massive improvement in the stream from then onwards while EJ waited (im)patiently:
FISH @ 0606hr !!!!!!!
Less than half, I'd say:
A beautiful mantle emerged from the blurs for a fleeting moment:
Odin stayed pottering:
Until EJ returned, which when PATILY picked up the story, I think. After Odin's requisite mantle they stood around until EJ left @ 0632, Odin left @ 0644hr.
Morning CLARE!
Hi, Scylla!
