I confess I spent most of yesterday riveted by the events at Dyfi (nail biting stuff!) so only had occasional glimpses at LG.
Thanks again to LG's roving cam operators - wonderful closeups of magnificent Odin and, more unusually, of beautiful EJ, plus thanks to all you who captured the closeups and posted them for us. Again Odin decided mating was on the agenda (the previous day we just heard the sounds on the campost) - today we had a long range side view of nest and saw Odin trying his luck with EJ on the campost!
After so many years of only hearing action on the campost, I've really enjoyed the views which show the nest and campost (does EJ really fly backwards up to the campost?!). I don't think I've ever seen closeups before of EJ on the campost - lovely :-)
Not sure what happened to roving cam as it has been left with a rather odd view of the nest - don't know what Scylla might capture on that overnight!

No significant change:
Oops! He's gone.
EJ returned - she's a fast eater, as we know!
And Odin soon joined her:
EJ has now left, Odin remains, pottering.
EJ is here:
Odin has joined her:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
How I miss the sound! EJ and Odin are both on the nest and I've only just noticed as was checking other things.
EJ arrived first:
Then Odin:
He mantled, not for long:

This was going to be "We've only got one left" but then he left! And we have an empty nest.
