I confess I spent most of yesterday riveted by the events at Dyfi (nail biting stuff!) so only had occasional glimpses at LG.
Thanks again to LG's roving cam operators - wonderful closeups of magnificent Odin and, more unusually, of beautiful EJ, plus thanks to all you who captured the closeups and posted them for us. Again Odin decided mating was on the agenda (the previous day we just heard the sounds on the campost) - today we had a long range side view of nest and saw Odin trying his luck with EJ on the campost!
After so many years of only hearing action on the campost, I've really enjoyed the views which show the nest and campost (does EJ really fly backwards up to the campost?!). I don't think I've ever seen closeups before of EJ on the campost - lovely :-)
Not sure what happened to roving cam as it has been left with a rather odd view of the nest - don't know what Scylla might capture on that overnight!

Thank you for the intro, BIRDSONG, you've done a super job despite your attention being elsewhere for much of the day (understandably!).

How strange that they've left it like that :o I've checked back and they went straight to that view from EJ on a branch a little after 2230hr and left it there :-/
We'll just have to see what this view offers us if and when Odin starts his daytime activities. I hope I'll be here but am in yoyo mode lately :-(
IMAGICAT
Thank you birdsong, for the nice intro. Still the same view, scylla. And we won't be able to hear any skydancing either with no sound. >:-{

Odin's on the nest. He's been there for a little while while my typing wouldn't register *grrrr*.
After two visits, nest now empty.

I don't think we have sound.
Empty nest since the above.
I think this was DAYCAM 0407hr:
That was EJ - nestorising!
I think she flew onto the campost:
I didn't show any pics with her head down picking at sticks, as they were unclear.
Here is EJ's 4+ minutes on the nest. It's quite a nice, natural view actually, just a bit blurry when she moves:
