Someone remarked today that Odin was looking rather plump. Careful Odin we would not want you to end up in a osprey stew.
Roy Dennis gave an update on Blue XD and Green J today. He is still holding the fort but Green J is still away on holiday.

Oh, I read your post, Moffer, and he was still there. He disappeared in a blink again!

Oh dear, it's starting to rain.
Its been rotten weather up in Scotland the last day or two, wind and rain but still they give us entertainment - fab birds.
Strikes me that the two intruders earlier today could be the ones at the beginning that caused the nest to fail, any thoughts about that!

Hi Sheila and Lynette.
I hope you had a lovely day Sheila. We had at least one intruder land on the nest, possibly two! It's been quite quiet though.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
I think both birds today were female Lynette, and saw Odin home alone. You can't blame them for trying. They want a home and a mate too.
I think that it was "numerous" male intruders that gave Odin problems. There were just to many all at once.
EDIT, I can remember 4 off hand that we saw. Fenrir, the blue ring male, the BTO ring male and the Odin look-a-like. There may have been more that we didn't see on cam
No fish tonight, so I'm off to bed. Good Night all.
Good Night, Moffer.

Thanks Moffer, yes it was pleasant - christening of great niece.
I haven't read thru today's activities yet, and I think I'll leave it for tomorrow to digest. It's been a long day. However, I am sorry to hear that intruder(s) have been around today again.
See you tomorrow
On his last visit Odin looked down over the side - so I wonder if it was pine marten related.
