After the horrendous weather and lack of sightings on the static nest cam on Sunday, we hoped for better yesterday.
The weather was much improved, but we were still on the static nest cam, No sight or sound of any Osprey at all until 12.50pm when Odin landed defending the nest. At just gone 1pm a BTO ringed intruder landed briefly, and then again a few minutes later. Odin gave chase and we didn't see it again. Odin remained very alert with eyes to the sky often after that.
All was quiet until just gone 4pm and EJ landed :) Odin returned and they spent a few minutes together before she retreated to the campost. That was all we saw of EJ today. We heard her calling from the campost though.
Odin started on major nestorations, bringing in some pretty big sticks, and kept going on and off the nest until 10.37pm, so lots of sightings of Odin yesterday.
What will today bring? Fish and a mobile camera please :)

Silly girl won't come down, she continues to fishcall... haha, she heard me, here she is!
IMAGICAT
She's stickifying a bit but blurs with every move.
I hope that the FORWARD HIDE (generic, in case the personnel are different today) will be able to say if there's been any skydancing, I couldn't find any.
BTW, I didn't know about females having broader beaks, either.
Back onto the campost, noisily.
Not backwards:
A rumble, she _may_ have flown.
Awww. I just missed her. Thanks for the news and pics scylla. And that was a lovely summary of what happened yesterday, too, moffer.
