Where we are now, according to our MOFFER:
They, especially EJ are spending less and less time on the nest. In fact she only comes when she wants fish, and even then she's started landing on the campost, or to defend the nest from female intruders.
Odin bless him, is still living in hope I think. Skydancing, keeping the nest tidy, bringing in sticks and defending it. Even that seems to go in fits and starts now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nasty hail and rain yesterday, our birds not seen on the nest for many, many hours. We look forward to the sound and sight of Odin very soon this morning.
IMAGICAT
Here he is, more relaxed now.
Another twiggy branch
And rest
After a five minute nap, a quick check around, and he's off.
Here he is again :) A quick potter, check around and he's off.
A quick landing and onto the campost..................back down after 30 seconds
I saw Odin for nearly a second then! Oh, back on nest now...
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
Odin's landed, bit of a mantle going on.
He soon relaxes and adopts the "I'm looking for EJ" pose
He's still there, same position, just looking out
I hope you are OK now Moffer, and Scylla has a good catch up. Odinhas really kept us on our toes today. I gues the intruder has been around a fair bit, and Odin is proving he 'ownes' the nest.
He was there when I checked, before typing this.
Yep, he is still there looking intently over the back of the nest.
Looks like he's getting restless.
