Where we are now, according to our MOFFER:
They, especially EJ are spending less and less time on the nest. In fact she only comes when she wants fish, and even then she's started landing on the campost, or to defend the nest from female intruders.
Odin bless him, is still living in hope I think. Skydancing, keeping the nest tidy, bringing in sticks and defending it. Even that seems to go in fits and starts now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nasty hail and rain yesterday, our birds not seen on the nest for many, many hours. We look forward to the sound and sight of Odin very soon this morning.
I thought there might be a BTO ring on the right leg:
[/quote]Well done Scylla. Did one of the many early May intruders have a BTO and not a Darvic? I seem to recall that...possibly.. Not that it's of any significance!
Odin is back..pottering, looking around his domain.
Here he is again!
Staring over the back of the nest
Gone.
