Where we are now, according to our MOFFER:
They, especially EJ are spending less and less time on the nest. In fact she only comes when she wants fish, and even then she's started landing on the campost, or to defend the nest from female intruders.
Odin bless him, is still living in hope I think. Skydancing, keeping the nest tidy, bringing in sticks and defending it. Even that seems to go in fits and starts now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nasty hail and rain yesterday, our birds not seen on the nest for many, many hours. We look forward to the sound and sight of Odin very soon this morning.
Gawn!
Well, that was lovely. Thanks for keeping your recording going. I may well have missed such a short visit, so it's good to know you can scan to check!
A one second touch down, that was NOT Odin. Flew off right, just out of sight when...
Odin's back within a second from the other direction, alarm chirps faintly
