GWYNANT AND DERI
I really need to go through my captures of Glesni but in the meantime here she is on the T-post, which is where she's currently sitting:

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Right, I've been through my Glesni captures and what an eminently worthy bird she is to capture! Here we go:
Watching over Clarach and Cerist, 2013
Tiredly incubating, 2014
Feeding Gwynant and Deri
Warning us all off in just one loaded glance!
For once, taking it easy as Monty feeds the chicks
Blissfully tucking in as the chicks' attention is firmly focused elsewhere
Posing for the Observatory crowd, 2014
Still the caring mum. Feeding one of her huge chicks, 2014
'I'll be off soon. Don't cause Daddy too much trouble.'
She's back and she's bad! A show of intent at the start of 2015
'May I remind you I'm the dominant one in this relationship?'
'You try laying on these bumpy things for hours on end and see how you look.'
Taking the raising of three chicks in her stride
'Nobody told me how to fit three chicks underneath me.'
A beautiful stretch a week before migration
Enjoy!
Good stuff Clare.Thank you.
Birdies LG DU update.
And here we go for 2016!

Thanks, Limpy, for resurrecting this thread. Wonderful to see the pics from previous years of Glesni and Nora and Monty, of course, and some of their chicks. Gwynant certainly was a pale bird.
Kind regards, Ann
