SUMMERTIME - and the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin'
And the Flowers are high
One of these mornin's
You're gonna rise up singin'
Then you'll spread your wing's
And you'll take to the sky.

Actually humidity is not too bad today and Thank God for air conditioning.
Good evening all. June nice to see you back but sorry about your computer problems :( The answer to all your problems might be coming soon! Windows 8 is being replaced by windows10 and you might be able to upgrade for free! Its supposed to be much simpler to use as lots of complaints about windows8! I have windows 7 netbook(tiny) that i use for this forum but have a apple Mac but that wont let me post on these forums for some unexplained reason :( Im just getting to grips with the photo part of the Mac long time coming LOL!
I'm signed uo for free installation and WONDER! Better or worse???
June that is hot! Amazed your plants survive! My conservatory reaches that or 45C at midday and the only thing that relishes it is my cactus collection! They have been flowering in joy I will post some pics soon. They are so beautiful but last only a few days.
Hi June and Willow and anyone lurking! Sounds awfully hot there, June. Sorry about your computer problems, June. Some people would say these things are sent to try us, but I have always wondered about that!
The stained glass exhibition was fantastic, so Willow, you must go if it is still running! Shame that you cannot see it as well, June.
Willow, I have seen Blackbirds looking like they were sunbathing on hot, sunny days. I seem to recall that some birds do that on ant hills to encourage the ants to spray their feathers to deter pests living in the feathers or on the skin. I'm sure the experts here can tell us the true story or stories! Sometime in the last year or two, Forumite Hazy posted photos of her Wren doing that. Hazy is taking a holiday from the Forum but will be back in the autumn.
Kind regards, Ann
Hello Ann. I have seen a great tit on our pagoda doing just that, he was picking ants off and putting them under his wing! I was wondering what he was up to!
And then there was one.
