SUMMERTIME - and the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin'
And the Flowers are high
One of these mornin's
You're gonna rise up singin'
Then you'll spread your wing's
And you'll take to the sky.
Willow happy for you. Am enjoying your pics.
WELCOME BACK!
Some wildlife, taken by Fred Shaw in Alaska.
Finally, the photographer, Rev. Fred Shaw.
Willow, Congratulations on your successful trip to Rutland Water! Thanks for the pics. We've been there twice and I am completely hooked. Going again for Birdfair and I hope there will still be a few Ospreys around and they will not all have migrated!
June, Thanks for the pics from Alaska--gorgeous, especially the Otter!
Kind regards, Ann
Ann,glad you like the alaska pics, Rev Shaw is a top notch photographer in every way
Now my own out of focus effort. But I did it!! I captured a hummingbird!
June, Congratulations on the Hummingbird! Is it a Ruby Throated? I understand they love Fuchsias--do you have any of those or do you have a Hummingbird feeder for sugar water? I know someone who used to live in Texas and who had a Rufous Hummingbird overwintering in her back garden for several winters running. She had the sugar water feeder up all year and with a heat lamp on it over the winter to keep it from freezing! That bird was very possessive and chased any other Hummingbirds away if they dared to show up at the feeder.
Good evening all.Well done June for capturing a hummingbird! You are lucky to have them in your garden!
