Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

One of them has flown.
The camera followed their nice, strong flight but they went too high to continue being followed. Still ENS and the T-post is also empty.

That is exactly where I first saw Cerist on 22 August 2013 after her little adventure.
I remember the Cerist post-fledge episode well. I wish I'd been there to join the search.
