Yesterday started well with Skydancing at just gone 3am. Watching the cam with sound is fantastic. Thank you Jen for sorting it out.
Odin delivered a large whole fish to EJ at 5.20am and then fetched himself one. We saw the evidence in his extended crop later, about 6.45am.
Odin pottered on the nest until 8.30am but we didn't see EJ.
Both birds were absent from the nest (static cam) until just before 3pm when Odin started a marathon nesting building session, bringing in sticks and moss and nest cupping in very windy weather, He also treated us all to another skydance :) This carried on until 7.15pm. Still no EJ seen on the nest.
At 8.50pm EJ appeared. She stayed around the nest area, sometimes calling for fish until 11pm when Odin delivered her half a fish.
Another happy peaceful day at the LG nest.
We also had news of Breagha this evening. He is still in France on the Loire River.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Thanks Moffer, a very nice DU to start the new month off.
We have a very quiet nest at this moment in time.

Many thanks Moffer for your round up of today's happenings, very useful for me as have had scant opportunity to keep up with all of the comings & goings of our lovely pair ... will read it all in detail tomorrow!
The news of Breagha was extremely welcome, such a long & worrying time in between updates!
Goodnight, must sleep now ... hope you are feeling much better!

Lovely summary, MOFFER!
The nest view is lovely tonight, too, thank you campeople :-)
IMAGICAT
Skydancing!
Lovely and loud and here he is :-*
He landed the wrong way around, from our point of view, and has since stood still looking away from us.
Any more shots won't do him justice.
That's better ;-)
Complete silence since he landed, BTW.
Still standing still, surveying, silent.
Gone!
