Well as I said last night this would be my last DU for a while. It has been another very good day for watching Odin and EJ.
Tomorrow is July and that will be the last full month of ospreys. Then in August they will start flying south and the osprey experience will be over for another year.
It all goes so quickly.

Hi Scylla - woke to realise I hadn't put the bins out! So looked in just in case and was delighted to hear Odin, sound makes such a difference. Another funeral to attend today so won't be able to view as much as I would like - still have to catch up on last 3 days!

Odin's starting up again, very distantly - must be so high in the sky! Getting a little closer but not much.
The sound is juddery, makes Odin sound trilly, warbly. Getting closer...
He sounds like one of those plastic birds you put water in (gosh, that takes me back!) and blow, and they warble.
Faded and stopped, no landing.
