Well today was a wet day at Loch Garten so there was not quite so much going on. Loch Garten did publish a blog telling us that Breagha has setlled into his favourite stopover place in the Loire Valley.
One question that keeps coming up is whether Odin and EJ might migrate early?
Well there is just no reason to believe that they will. The nest failed in 2005 and 2007 and EJ migrated on 18th August 2005 and 19th August 2007. See EJ profile
As always the nest has to be defending. Letting a new couple settle in over the summer would be a very serious mistake.

Thank you Lmac for the update. I had missed that little snippet completely. I travelled up and down that road in May, and always look east near Carrbridge in the hope of perhaps seeing an osprey on the hunt for fish. I will keep my eyes open next time when near Dalwhinnie!!
Darn it, I missed Odin AGAIN. Thank you Moffer for the report, and Limpy for the pic:)

That sounds intriguing! Volunteering?
Woohoo!!! Odin has landed. Intruder alert.
A Blue ringed osprey on the far side of the nest
Blue ring has flown, Odin remains looking above him.
Odin continues to stand on this side of the nest, looking around.

And gone.
I'm on it :) Sorry it's late, I was on the phone trying to get the sound back on. Jen's not there today but Heather will try to sort it.
Odin returns. Intruder around
A Blue Darvic bird lands. Looks female to me.
Odin remains on the rim for quite a while
