Another new week and while Odin and EJ seem to be enjoying their free time at Loch Garten, little they know that their son Breagha is racing north. The big question is "How long before he gets to Loch Garten".Well he has about a thousand miles to go but if he keeps up his present pace he could be at Loch Garten before the end of the week. Look out for a blue ring CF4 on left leg.
I wonder who will be the first to spot him, no doubt looking a bit different from when he left Loch Garten on Friday 23 August 2013.
It might be an interesting week.

Tiger a well composed DU many thanks.
Thanks for starting the new day, TIGER. I've been looking for nice pics of Breagha but couldn't find anything in my chaotic system.
Still on the tree:
IMAGICAT
Odin skydancing. Excerpt. He came to nest, sound only, EJ stayed put:
Mrs Cuckoo has been trilling.
EJ still on the tree and Odin is skydancing again (I assume it's him).
Into the distance and back, EJ appears to be unmoved.
Sky dancing at 03:28 and female cuckoo's bubbling call! Amazing to see 'eye shine' in Scylla's photo above at 02:36.
Edit: Hadn't refreshed, Scylla - now see you'd already posted this info with lots of captures :-) My cat had decided to wake me...

I think that Odin just left the nest.
This is EJ, she hasn't moved from the tree and I haven't seen anyone with her - she may well be eating but I've seen nothing delivered.
