Hallo all. Long day out; nice to see grandson and partner and see photos from the Bahamas. Had a strawberry waffle for breakfast, but was seriously taken aback by frozen strawberries - this in a town literally surrounded by strawberry fields and farm stands bursting at the seams with luscious ripe berries.
Off to catch up with last few posts from the previous week.
Margo, Have a good weekend, plus Monday : -))) X
Heather, I don't think you have mentioned how tall your OH is. I think I possibly assumed he was tall, after seeing the photograph you showed us, ( possibly a few years ago) of your OH in his kilt. Sorry I accused you of shrinking him :-))
Linda, Thanks for your lovely photographs of Bonnie. I hope she has now learnt that she can no longer get through the bars.
I have played very little golf, although I did have lessons. I do love playing tennis and swimming, ( not in Dibnlib's league, though ) as well as playing bowls. Watching the Andy Murray match at the moment. Looks as if rain may stop play.
Heather - Congratulations on your lovely little new granddaughter! so glad that you arrived just in time and that Sam is so pleased to have a little sister. I expect that you will all catch up on your sleep tonight!
I arrived safely at my Daughters in Shap after a good journey with tortoises and Amber! Tortoises have all been out in the garden eating and exploring. My Daughter thought she had made an escape proof area at the top of the garden but they were all managing to get out,one of them got stuck quite high up in the box hedge! We had to do some reinforcing. The males had not met up with the females for a while, so there was a lot of excitement there! I am off down to my Son's tomorrow, a part of the motorway I do not like much, very busy around Birmingham, I shall be glad when I arrive there
Have been reading but not replying. Painful hand for the last few weeks - going to get an injection on 1st July - so was saving it for the ironing (now finished).
Will try to put together some short answers to questions which you have asked me, but not tonight!
HEATHER - congrats to all concerned. And I would say your OH is not just a man, but a gentleman - and he certainly doesn't look his age!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
