Another new day begins and all is quiet on the nest.

Just caught sight of EJ in the tree on my iPad - now I've logged on to laptop, we're back to the evening empty nest view
P.S. If people want DU to continue, I promise to up my game and do some thread starting!
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
EJ flew to the cam post (sound only) She has just jumped down on to the nest
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
I've never seen her doing this "leaping" on the nest until yesterday.
She has flown back to the cam post (can hear flapping)
She's back on the nest
EJ is back on the nest
............gone again..........
Having read everyone's thoughts on the future of the DU, there is one point of view that seals it for me - and that is LMAC's, and others' like her who are unable to watch for long periods, who need to find their starting point quickly each day. And only a DAILY update will achieve that for them.
I'm not taking any further contribution from MOFFER because her view is patently obvious <3
I think that LIMPY may be motivated partly by the difficulty in composing an "interesting" opening post to the DU when the previous day has been largely inactive, and I feel that strongly too. We, including HERON, CC and TIGER (sorry if I've left you out), all like to say a few meaningful words to introduce the day. Well sod it! Let's start the DU with just the date and a bald announcement that it's the new DU, if necessary, and let's feel no shame ;-)
I'm sure I shall post this and see lovely scaps of EJ, who's just been on the nest in all her glory ;-)
IMAGICAT
It's raining. Drops of water are dripping from the cam casing :(
Evening all. I have not been on for several days due to other commitments and not getting home until later. Over the days prior to that, I have been following as best I could but not always posting. I would be happy for a weekly update, as has been said there is not a lot happening, but also agree that daily would suit others. Will leave it to those who post and follow on a regular basis. Thanks to all of you who have been committed in keeping us updated with our two beautiful birds.
