I've checked 'n checked - there's no DU started yet, so here y'are ;-)
Another day went by with EJ and Odin bonding, fishing, eating and repelling (yes, presumably BlueDarvic was back but we have no ID)... sometimes in sound only, other times with spectacular, if grainy, views that we've never seen before :o
BUT! The star of the day was our unsung, singing-his-heart-out hero, The Chaffinch!
(Note to self - please get yourself some decent picture-poshifying software!)
IMAGICAT
So interestingly or maybe not but Roy used the blue darvic rings around that 30-60's in 2011, with the exception of 44 which he he didn't use until 2012 and three in 30's which he used in 2010. So 45 could maybe be a 3 or a 4 year old. A very general surmise
You are a step ahead of me Lmac! I was thinking it might be a 2012 bird, but your suggestion is interesting!

If anyone is on friendly terms with Roy, perhaps they could ask him, when he has 5 minutes to have a look at his records. I'm sure that he will be as interested as we are.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
A spin around the Forest, a view of the VC and round anticlockwise, past the topless tree where EJ was earlier. Zooming out again and further to the left, zooming in and, yay, we have EJ still eating her monster!
Moffer I am a bit surprised that there wasn't more information about Blue 45 in the blog. Surely they would have checked with him before posting the info?
Whew, another spin and now a close up following the line of the nest tree, and up to the nest, which is empty!
and another spin around back to EJ. I shall get seasick before too long! But it's a lovely view.
Maybe another ringer had 45 in his collection?
Sheila, I do think it's a bit strange not giving any info on Blue 45. They must want to know too.
Clever Breagha flew around the terrible sandstorms that have been near the coast in Western Sahara. Fly safe boy.
Odin on the nest (sound only)
The sound of wing beats. I wonder whether Odin has returned to the nest.
Edit (LOL Moffer!) EJ is still on the tree, but has stopped eating. She is looking around at the moment.
It looks like EJ finished her fish, cleaned hear beak and turned around the other way just before 2pm.
