Following another day of eating and bonding and chilling, the fierce winds continue thru the night. Now and then I hear osprey voices in the distance - probably blown there by the wind, the bird/s could really be quite close by.
The nest is set up nicely for Odin and EJ's early-morning visits:

Odin is skydancing.
As yet no-one is here to receive him.
Odin stops skydancing and lands on the empty nest:
Where are you, my love?
Surely he wouldn't have skydanced unless he knew EJ was there to watch and listen? Would he?
Have been unable to post since immediately after previous post - links not responding, error messages, got signed out.

Odin got restless and left, shortly after which time I heard chirping briefly. However, now I can't even hear the wind so I'm wondering if the sound has gone.

The sound has just come back with a vengeance, the wind still dominating but a cuckoo manfully competing ;-)
