Yesterday EJ got fish, an intruder (blue-ringed?) got dispensed with... we think... for no bird was seen thereafter - because the cam went down @ 1306hr, not to recover until evening, whence the nest remained empty.
I missed Odin's piercing skydance (was out of the room, plus speaker low)... he landed to find no EJ waiting for him on the nest!
Excerpt:
As I type, Odin is back on the nest, I have yet to check what brought him here, if indeed it was an external stimulus.
IMAGICAT
Here she is again:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
She has flown.
I can hear EJ distantly calling.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
EJ has landed still calling.
Still there, but quiet now.
EJ has flown.
EJ's back again with soft pipes, turned into fish calling.
Mating!
and then a little piggy back ;)

Fish @ 0635hr !!! Not such a tiddler as so often these days, so did she wolf it or drop it? No better shot of the fish survived.
Thanks Scylla :)
She's still hungry, and still calling.
