What a difference a month makes. But someone, somewhere has said that hope springs eternal in the human breast. We hope for better things next year at the historic Loch Garten nest.
In the meantime there are several other nests just abustin' with cute little bobbleheads and good cameras. Happy Watching! And reporting, please, the more the merrier.
Good morning all. A beautiful morning after yesterdays wet and dull day. June this is your month! Love the clouds photo. More rain yesterday for poor Maya and B33 she does a great job of keeping them warm and dry!
More modern art. I'll leave you to guess what it is. Hint: looks like rain today at Loch Garten.

Evening all,
Many of you will remember the "Perfect Storm" we had during the first week of June, 2012. Two chicks died and the weather almost took Ceulan away from us too.
Well, three years on and we have another summer storm. It is, however, nowhere near as bad as it was three years ago and we're hopeful that both Bobs and Bob 3, who hasn't hatched yet, will be fine.
Manton Bay
Good morning June. Terrible weather here and all over UK Ithink. I worry for all the nests not only osprey nests but the ones in our gardens and the newly fledged birds. Hopefull it will improve later :(
Just heard the sad news that Charles Kennedy has died at the age of 55. Whatever the politics he was a very decent man with a humanity some politicians lack. Rest in Peace , Best wishes to all his family
Starling and Willow, are you watching the Manton Bay cams. They have some lovely pictures there and lots of interesting actions.
