Yesterday brought another day of bonding and nest-building with enormous sticks and a very industrious and determined looking Odin coming in and out of the nest. At one point he kicks the egg to the edge where it later is broken as Trying has posted on yesterday's thread, and I reproduce below because it is so excellent. :)
Trying said: Thanks for all the pics and running reports. Just caught up with all goings on after my visit today. Only additions I can add to the things already reported, is a tit finally broke up and devoured much of the last egg shell. And here is the centres 'the Day so far' board from today.

Thank you so much Moffer for the wonderful sequence earlier with Odin and EJ taking turns to sort out the large stick on the nest. Just brilliant.

Hi Sheila! Do you think she is waiting for Odin? Is this where they were perched charmingly together a couple days ago? Gotta go back and look.
EDIT: Answer is yes! This is moffer's post from May 27th Wednesday.
Unknown said: Two and a half hours later, and they're still perched side by side :)
Odin is in the tree also, just landing
So no breakfast fish for EJ today :(

And there he IS - just flew in! But it is too fuzzy/pixelated to see well.
Odin has flown.Just a quickie around the trees and back.
It's raining, and I can distantly hear EJ fish begging between the buffers.
No change.
Oh, isn't it just so delightful to see them together like this!
2 hours just hanging out together.
Odin has flown.
A fly past just for good measure.
