Yesterday brought another day of bonding and nest-building with enormous sticks and a very industrious and determined looking Odin coming in and out of the nest. At one point he kicks the egg to the edge where it later is broken as Trying has posted on yesterday's thread, and I reproduce below because it is so excellent. :)
Trying said: Thanks for all the pics and running reports. Just caught up with all goings on after my visit today. Only additions I can add to the things already reported, is a tit finally broke up and devoured much of the last egg shell. And here is the centres 'the Day so far' board from today.

This should be a better EJ ;-)

Haha, snap CC :-*
EJ looks splendid on the nest
Edit: Ooops - seems we all thought this was a good pose!

Glad we can still hear the sounds from the nest microphone even when the cam has been focused elsewhere - gives a good indication that the cam may return to an occupied nest!
Hello!! EJ has returned to the nest, and appears to be faffing in the cup, and taking a look around as well. Pic is very pixillated.
And she has flown

When EJ stands in the "hole" that became the nest cup, you can see how deep it actually is from the side... oops she's flown.
Back to the tree.

Morning CC. It certainly is a deep cup, courtesy of the pine marten I guess.
EJ is back on her perch in the trees.
Revised view - it is quite interesting to get more of a mental image of the environs with regard to the nest. So *this* tree is where EJ is always looking when she is on the nest.
