Morning, tina and Moffer :-D. Doesn't it sound strange without EJ's constant food soliciting?

Morning Ollie. I really hope that EJ has a better day today. At least, it's not raining.
Is the sound working? It's very quiet, not even a Chaffinch.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
I first thought that the sound wasn't working OR I perhaps had my own sound muted/off. Double checked my end and all was OK.
I CAN hear something chirruping ever-so-gently in the background and the occasional sound of wind buffeting, so I presume that our EJ has just given herself a touch of laryngitis over the past couple of days ;-).
I DO hope that she has a 'wake-up call' soon where that remaining egg is concerned. I want to hear news that she's been fishing for herself and caught 'Moby Dick' over at the River Spey or the local Fish Farm :-D.
Good morning all!
As Bjork once sang... "It's oh, so, quiet..." :)

Morning all - Hi Choco - only page 1! that's amazing. Indeed it is oh so quiet! I wonder what today will bring. Hopefully a fish for EJ.

Limpy. Thanks for starting off the new DU.
Thanks to everyone else for the early morning comments.
I find it slightly odd that people are hoping that EJ gets a fish today. It used to be that she just had to ask and one was got for her. A reminder that life can change very quickly.

Morning Choco. Radio Chaffinch is playing, so the sound is working.
EJ waits, having a doze in the sunshine,
Yesterday's two bits of fish went down without even touching the sides - it would be really nice to see a proper big one that Odin hasn't nearly finished himself
Oh heck - sorry :-/. The reason that I want for EJ to go and 'fish for herself' is because it might just point to her realising that the egg is not viable/she's no longer feeling inclined to incubate it. It would also give us another opportunity to see how badly damaged it actually IS.
From yesterday's pic, like many others, I'm pretty certain that it's completely broken - but another good look at it and a close-up pic would be extremely useful.
If things are really as bad as it looked yesterday, then Odin could do with the opportunity to oust the remaining shell properly - IF EJ will 'forgive' him for doing that :-/!
Good morning everybody - thanks to Limpy for the intro, and to everyone for updates. Very quiet morning so far, I see.
This will be my last post for a few days, as I'll be away, and am very unlikely to have internet access.
So, I won't say Happy Viewing everybody, because we know that probably won't be the case. But let's hope that things are peaceful and (fingers crossed), reasonably pleasant for our splendid pair, and all dedicated followers.
Should be back on by weekend - best wishes all.
