It falls to me to start the new thread as we watch and wait with EJ.
Right now she is fast asleep, head under her wing, in all the glory of fuzzy cam
It's now more than two days since she last had a fish from Odin. Yesterday he paid two very brief visits, but arrived empty taloned both times. Why is he not fishing for his mate? We simply do not know.
And still EJ remains magnificently dedicated to her one remaining egg, and has so far resisted going fishing for herself. A zoom yesterday did not reveal obvious damage, but surely previous kicking and three days on the rim of the nest will have taken its toll? Is it trauma that is keeping her brooding, or simply habit? Or is there still a tiny chance something has survived against all the odds? We simply do not know.
All we can do is watch and wait. And so we do. On with another day fellow Ospreyholics!

Without a proper investigation it is hard to be sure which egg is left. However here is a rather good picture of all three eggs by scylla on Sunday 3 May
Now I think that the egg that remains is the one on the left.

I am sorry that EJ only got a small amount of fish but at least it shows that Odin CAN fish Now he needs to up his game
Is that rain?
Sounds as if it's pouring down - scenery partly blotted out with rain.
EJ had a big stretch of one wing:
And tail (couldn't get the best of wing and tail at the same time) just now, but I had a couple of pages to catch up before posting:
Hope your electrical problem is resolved pronto, MOFFER :o
IMAGICAT
Sun's out now - must have been a brief heavy shower. EJ still sitting quietly.
EJ calling urgently now.
Have to go again now - Scylla and Patily, if you're still around, plus anyone else who's here - leave you to keep a watchful eye on one of our two favourite ospreys. SYAL.

Double post - thought the 1st one hadn't gone through. Sorry.
