A big Thank You to all frequent and infrequent posters on this thread. I've kept a fond eye on EJ and Odin for the last five years or so but don't remember if I've ever posted. I really appreciate being able to find out the current situation on the nest by reading posts in this forum. I learn a lot about osprey behaviour too. Every time I eat I think of EJ's empty stomach. I try hard not to be sentimental, to remember ospreys know and understand things I don't, that the natural world has it's own dynamics etc. It's very hard though. I realise instinct is dominant with EJ and Odin, but the way EJ has just 'dumbly' stuck it out so far I sometimes find more humbling than if she'd had rationally-based choices. As a human, I would have given in before now. Thank you again.
