Why was EJ kicking in the cup before the fish arrived????

I can only think she is trying to restore the cup to it's previous size/ shape before Fen . She still seems to think she is incubating.

Beautiful little creature, have no idea what it is though - and am not sure whether there was a fish from Odin or not, anyone know??/

Just to be clear  VIVIENNE: yes, fish courtesy of Odin

Oh, wow, Moffer - that's so confusing. Why is EJ back incubating if earlier she tried to kick the egg out?!!!

I saw it live and could not really take in what I was seeing. EJ trying to kick the egg out is not something you ever expect to see.

  • Not sure who arrived with the fish but at last EJ has eaten.

  • Thanks Cirrus!

  • The fish was obviously presented to EJ, without her having to mug anyone in the dinner cue. I get the feeling we won't see Fen around any longer. Perhaps he learned a valuable life lesson when EJ pinched a fish off him, the other day. It is delightful to see Odin, in charge of his domain :)

Warning!  This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar.  Approach with extreme edginess.

  • Could she know it is unviable and is it clear to her that something is not correct in their world while egg is there.

  • I'm only guessing here but I think EJ is starting to believe the egg is no longer viable. I'm happy to be corrected on this but I wouldn't be surprised if EJ was only adopting the incubating posture now to underscore her status as dominant female on that nest.

I wonder......interesting idea - you could well be right. She certainly won't want anyone to think the nest is available.
