Morning everybody -just caught up with last night and this morning - as always, thanks for all reports,, pics and vids - so good to be able to follow events so closely without having actually seen them.
I've taken the liberty of quoting from heron77's (Paul, isn't it?) post last night, because it's such great advice for EJ. EJ, WERE YOU LISTENING???? GO, GIRL, GO!!!!
Thanks to Limpy for the heartfelt intro, and the very sensible advice in the last para.
Well, we've seen more of Odin in the last 24 hours than for some considerable time. So what next?
A question for Tiger, please, if you're still around, (which I'm putting on this thread, because I think it's relevant):-
In view of EJ's persistence, and the fact that the camera picture is so indistinct, do you think it's remotely possible that the egg is still whole and viable?
EJ is looking up.

EJ is fish calling now

By the sound of it she should have been up and backing up to receive a fish, but the cam had her stubbornly flat!
IMAGICAT
Still calling intermittently, but staying on egg.

Nipping in to give my view while we wait for TIGER...
I think that if the egg had been viable Odin would have incubated it. (Unless he thought it might not be his, given that he left 3 eggs in the cup... but I still don't think it's viable and Odin should know that.)

We have to remember that the egg spent 3 days on the rim of the nest after being kicked out. It's been stood on, pecked and nearly kicked out again. I don't know what to think.
Morning all. Just catching up. Nice to hear that Odin has been around.
