Hallo all! Thanks for cute photos of various critters. Lots of work in the garden on this side of the pond; don't understand how a simple job can turn into a three-hour pain in the derriere! :-)
Lindybird: Will be interesting to see how things develop following the UK election. Is that Bonnie's "official" old shoe? :-) Good idea to stash her toys in it.
Margo: Not happy to read that you've had a rough time with one more dose to go. Grrrr. Wish I could wish it away!
LizLFW: Not happy news from LG; what a development. Makes me somewhat relieved that I haven't been watching the nest as closely as in the past. :-(
Brenda: How are those next-door plans evolving? Re the osprey, that's the first time I've seen one at that location- a real thrill. Re the brainless thugs; makes me wonder what it would take to make them appreciate the sacrifices made on their (ungrateful) behalfs (behalves??)
dibnlib: I've been missing the gym again, what with dogs to walk, etc., etc., My whole fitness schedule seems to have gone out the window..... :-((
Diane: So glad you're busy with freelance project.
AQ: Have you done the laundry yet? How was the trip?
Have a good Sunday everyone.
LINDY Can't be identical surely.... unless your OH has 2 left feet!!!!LOL
ANNETTE The manager and another member of staff used to work Sunday. Managers wife had twins on 1st Dec and so he decided not to work Sunday any more and other staff member decided to go zero hours, hence the change. Went in to work today and there has been some amendment to my Sundays and the manager isn't quite as unhappy as I had been lead to believe. I will know for sure when I see him on Thurs
Should have said, there are still 2 members of staff (apart from manager) who don't work Sunday
I really hope it works out for you, Dibnlib.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Thanks CLARE
LINDY She is just completely gorgeous, even if a handful. They all are at that age, it is just that we forget.
Odin back? I haven't looked in since this morning. Now to check DU!!!!
Hello all, lovely to see you Rita.
Quiet day here in Brittany, gardening, resting, lovely lunch of French bread and various things and roast lamb tonight followed by rhubarb (from the garden) crumble.
Now to check on Odin xx
Dibnlib, So happy to read that things may not be as bad as you anticipated. I really do hope all will be sorted to your satisfaction.
Rita, Sorry you have been ill, but it is great to see your post. Lovely to see a photograph of your beautiful granddaughters. Sound a lovely meal with your son and his wife. Take care of yourself.
Linda, Bonnie is becoming even more gorgeous. I do love the photograph of her lying on the ornamental grass.
Heather, Resting and good food sounds like just what you need. Hope you are now feeling 100%.
I am thrilled that Odin is back. Just waiting for the promised detailed Blog, now.
Hi! We did get back safely last evening, but tired after a really good few days! Today has been taken up with washing machine, garden - and Osprey activity! More tomorrow.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Welcome back, OG.
