I haven't seen any sign of a Darvic ring Karen.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
I too was wondering whether they could possibly, just a weany, tiny, miniscule bit, have mistaken white chest for Odin, particularly if the reports from the FH are by inexperienced folk? He did get us all confused for a while on 28/29 April.

Moffar, I haven't seen a Darvic either but wondering if there is one with there being a BTO ring and just not seeing it with the picture quality.
I also am really confused about what leg the BTO ring is on - I've seen it on the left but I think I have seen it mentioned about being on the right. Just confused :-)

Last week there was certainly one bird with a silver ring on the left leg and another with it on the right leg.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
You can see where the confusion comes from. This is the Odin look-a-like, NOT Odin.
OC has an unbroken black line on his head. He's quite different.

I swear, he looks like a younger version of Odin, even got the tufty bit. Could he be an Odin offspring or relation?

Implicit in "Odin lookalike" is "stunning" ;-)
I have been assuming that today's intruders are the same as last week's - OC and OL ;-)
