More intrusions yesterday but nothing like as aggressive as they have been. Odin caused concern, he was not seen on the nest for 9 hours but stamped his authority on it and on EJ when he did eventually appear, by pseudo-mating.
It's another windy night, EJ has just taken a 2-minute break - that's 2 minutes from getting up to sitting down, not 2 minutes in flight:
She returned from an unusual direction, hope you can recognise her legs in the top right:
Flaps:
Back on the eggs, alert, she is not sleeping yet as I type:
Gosh, I need to outline EJ's face, eyes and beak in that last snap, I can hardly pick her out myself :o
IMAGICAT
EJ's soft tweets have turned into fish begging.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
After a break she is back to begging - I love her soft chirps!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
EJ dozes between bouts of gentle calling.
Come on, Odin, you're being outdone by Monty! He's just brought Glesni a meal......time you sorted one out for the beautiful EJ.
Still just the morning fish then. EJ is more than capable of doing some reall shouting so she must be OK. Much better day re intruders too. Lovely sunset captures MOFFER
That is a lovely capture Cirrus.

EJ is still tweeting.
I thought for a moment Odin would come to give EJ a break, SHEILA.
She stands to turn the eggs calling all the while :)
