More intrusions yesterday but nothing like as aggressive as they have been. Odin caused concern, he was not seen on the nest for 9 hours but stamped his authority on it and on EJ when he did eventually appear, by pseudo-mating.
It's another windy night, EJ has just taken a 2-minute break - that's 2 minutes from getting up to sitting down, not 2 minutes in flight:
She returned from an unusual direction, hope you can recognise her legs in the top right:
Flaps:
Back on the eggs, alert, she is not sleeping yet as I type:
Gosh, I need to outline EJ's face, eyes and beak in that last snap, I can hardly pick her out myself :o
IMAGICAT
Odin is back on the nest calling and defending....in the wind.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
And he's flown.
He's back again. Defending EJ and the eggs.

At least we know it's not our systems!
Poor Odin, he's back again, his tail completely covering EJ's head!
Odin is here and demonstrating how much he doesn't like intruders:
He has flown but is back again:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I notice EJ isn't telling him to get his bum out of her face:
He has flown again.
After a quick wiggle she has flown.
EJ has flown, Odin returns.
Here is His Gorgeousness:
Come on, Odin, look over here:
Oh well. I suppose it's understandable that he should look in the direction EJ has flown in:
Doing a job he loves!
He started to rearrange himself, showing us the eggs, and I have a black screen...
