And so we begin another month. Osprey season is in full swing, with lots of action everywhere. ENJOY!
Then as I watched the wide angle view, a cloud passed on overhead, and the nest turned from dark to bathed in sunlight and the osprey's white head feathers became visible.
I couldn't see the cloud, of course, but from the lighting change that had to be what happened. We can see the spotty clouds on the horizon.
Rutland Waters have never been favorites with me - too many nests for me to keep track of.
But this year my award for prettiest cam goes to Manton Bay. I particularly like their two-view approach.
Sorry Dyfi you have been replaced. Your quiet beauty and serenity that I used to admire and enjoy so much simply is no longer there for me. I still hear the cuckoos sometimes, but I haven't heard the lowing of the cows all summer. Are they still there?
I understand there has been a hatch at dyfi about 6.30pm
Should be ome good watching for a while with Dyfi & Manton bay. And LOTL? Any other cams?
Oh thank you June - I'll go and have a look!

Glesni is sitting on the chick, so can't get a peek. However this is for you June - what is that in the left hand corner of this capture :)

This is a good cam June, nice clear picture. It's new and only been live for a few weeks.

There has been a hatch at Aberfoyle :) Lots of chicks to watch now!
Thanks, Keith & Starling. Will check out everything as I have time. If I can hook up with any good cams I will put them in favorites.
Already I have Manton Bay, Dyfi, & LotL - all long standing acquaintances. Truthfully, probably as much as I can keep up with. None for USA. Some from past years are no longer available to me.
Right now as I may have mentioned earlier,, I'm trying to get potted plants in the ground. My hands covered with good clean dirt and bobbleheads to watch. Life is good. PLUS four new bluebirds in southwest Ohio to be grateful for.
Good morning all. A bright and clear (just washed!) morning everything seems so clear and bright. Thankyou for all your updates and fantastic news of a hatch at Dyfi!
Whew! So pleased to see there has been a hatch at Kielder nest2. I was very concerned for this nest!
Love your cheerful post June (above) ! Enjoy your gardening, as i hope to do this afternoon! I have Lupin seeds to plant for next year also fox gloves and Delphiniums!
