And so we begin another month. Osprey season is in full swing, with lots of action everywhere. ENJOY!
Good evening Gabbers, June like your new avatar. Heres a pic of the ducklings about 3 years ago now>
Hi Willow - What a lovely picture, is this your pond?

I changed my profile picture on Facebook to this same picture. Surprisingly, I had a "like" from JAG. He never writes to me, but on his own Facebook he writes about his biking, sports & travels with SNOW. It is good to know that he is well and that he and Snow are enjoying themselves. Black Jaguar and Snow Leopard, you will recall.
Willow, your pond is indeed lovely. I was imagining a "wild" pond. Instead it is a very "tame" dressed-up pond. :) Glad you clarified with a picture.
Morning all. June yes this is my pond it is made up with a rubber pond liner and planted round with plants(since this photo was taken!) There is a "wild" pond over the road and is really a flooded field which floods so regularly now its almost a permanent pond! I have seen swallows skimming up the insects over it.Our pond much too small for all those ducks!
I am glad you have heard from Jag and that he and Snow are enjoying their travels! I think most people who used to post here have gone to facebook. I have never joined facebook but there is lots of information there to have if you do join FB. Maybe missing out on it if i dont join :(
Hi Starling yes this is my pond and much too small for all those ducklings! I had to get in it last week in order to remove a very over grown water lily! I noticed OH was not forth coming in offering to remove it! I hope it was not the wrong time to do this but it was smothering the whole pond
Willow - It's a lovely pond and you are so lucky to have had those ducks visit!
