So it might be possible the the Odin lookalike is in fact a 2010 offspring (were there any males?) looking to return to his natal nest - hence the persistence?
This is not a 'reprimand' directed at you, JANET, plenty of people have been speculating re possible offspring being the attacker/s - but I think it's pointless, we'll never know without DNA and they won't do that!
BTW, Odin brought EJ a third of a fish early this morning so that could well be her lot for today, even without intruders :-/

Sorry Scylla, I must have missed those comments :) Of course we'll never know without DNA as you say, but it still remains a possibility.
