Good news No1 is that Odin's injury can no longer be seen, whatever it was has washed right away :-)
Good news No2 is that there's been a blessed thaw :-)
The bad news is that the intruder has persisted even more cheekily today, disturbing EJ on the nest - but she firmly got rid of him. I took some snaps from the video Jen kindly supplied:
Girding her loins:
A flying tackle:
A sharp shove and he fled:
Just before midnight LIMPY took some beautiful shots of EJ, here's one I love:
She is now quietly resting:

She would certainly call if he had a fish, she would certainly call if she was hungry. Unfortunately the cam keeps stopping for me, more often than not, so I may have missed at lot, or nothing at all LOL!
Funny I have just kicked it into life, and EJ is calling!!!

The picture stops, but the sound often doesn't. She is looking toward his perch area, so perhaps he does have a fish....
Odin flies in to mate!!!
Odin flies and EJ leaves the nest.
Odin returns.

EJ is back

She is getting very vocal, but I have no picture. Thats better. A splat and a picture as EJ lands. She wanted a fly-about. But is it Odin or EJ who landed. I can't tell. Awww. It was Odin who had just got settled, when EJ returned, chipping gently together. Still picture again.
She is standing (still!) ..... possibly preening, or getting rid of an irritating itch. still.... cheep, cheep...still...
I think... Odin has gone, EJ is incubating. A nice little interlude, all the better for knowing that Odin is fine, and nearby!
What a lovely conversation between them. Odin gets off the eggs and leaves.
