The new day sees EJ incubating her two eggs......
Will she have a peaceful day or will the pesky intruder bother her again?
Tune in later to find out :-)
Late post as it wouldn't 'take'.
=====
Mated to show 'ownership' to intruder? And off he went (Odin, I mean).
She's gone too.
IMAGICAT
Odin is back:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Odin flies in to mate , she leaves and Odin returns to sit on the eggs
EJ flies and Odin takes over.

EJ's back. She was fish calling while off the nest!
EJ is back and still calling:
Another mating - is it because of the lookalike male intruder? Or is this the normal routine at this stage?
I've not known them mate this much before Scylla. I'm starting to wonder what's got into Odin, and where does he go for hours at a time. Of course with EJ's reputation, you can't blame him for keeping her at the nest bare clawed and eggy and waiting for fish. But saying that, she has been faithful to Odin this year....as far as we know.
Waiting for her supper.
