.
I've surfaced from drowning in mysterious tech problems, hopefully gasping for air just long enough to start out our new day.
EJ, in her usual reliable way, has produced Egg #2 exactly when it was expected. Apart from another intruder landing on the nest (the same one as the other day, the Odin look-alike?), it has been a good day for us all.
The deer have just finished "barking" and now some corvid-like calls can be heard in the distance, but EJ is taking no notice - apparently!

Morning all. Thanks for all the posts and updates today. It looks like a cracking day again at LG. I've been lurking for a while and watching EJ calling for fish of course.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
I think EJ can see Odin nearby eating. After a period of quiet, EJ is up and giving frantic bursts of fish begging.
EJ has settled again, but is still eyeballing the camera tree. Perhaps she was saying "Get your tail feathers in gear and get me some fish" Only time will tell.
Odin on the nest so presumably/hopefully EJ got her fish
Thanks for all the pics 'n' posts this morning folks - lovely to see 'our happy couple' basking peacefully in the LG sunshine today.
Need to go out for the afternoon, but looking forward to catching up with any incidents later when I get back. Ollie xx

EJ? took a break and back now(or is it Odin?) :-/ ~13:29
Every time I've looked in since 10.30ish Odin has been on the nest. He's panting poor thing.
I think EJ is having a lovely rest from sitting as payback for having to wait for her fish.
Spread out to ventilate, and looking up. Still Odin on the nest.
What a great dad Odin is. Bless him, still there waiting for EJ to return.
