Evening all: Welcome back, Alicat! As usual, all quiet on the LG nest; breezy at LOTL. FYI, I may not watch very late tonight as we have someone coming early in the morning to install French doors between the kitchen and "my" room and it's been a busy day.
EJ went for a short exercise flight and Odin flew in to incubate .... but he wasn't quick enough ... EJ returned and wouldn't let him on the eggs!!

I say, I think Odin flew to his hide away perch again. I saw him fly towards the nest and then disappear .And I can see movement similar to the video clip. I think perhaps the nest itself is shielding Odin from the wind. Clever boy !

love your new avatar!!
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
Good shot DJoanS
Just back and thanks for all the updates. When I looked at the nest it was snowing but glad to see it has now stopped. Also seen a bit of coming and going by EJ and Odin. Back to normal osprey watching tomorrow. Have to prepare dinner nowl.

Great pic DjoanS . How funny was that - an argument over the babycare arrangements!
Blizzard conditions at LG now.
Snow at LG, just now. I'm sure poor EJ is saying whatever osprey language is for: "C'mon! Give us a break!"And then as I hit the tab with the LG cam, the weather is suddenly spring like again. Well at least there's variety in the Scottish weather.Paul.

Blimey, just switched the cam on a few minutes ago and it was blowing a blizzard at LG.
Interesting that the very nearly horizontal snowfall was coming from almost directly behind the camera. I reckon that would point to the fact that Odin has taken to his new hidey-hole in order to escape the worst of the wind - I bet it's difficult to keep your balance on the camera post in these winds.
Hi Paul - you beat me to it, as soon as I looked at the cam again the sun was shining!
I think that's the definition of changeable.
