LOL!! Having seen an empty nest for ages (or has my link dropped out and I didn't realise) EJ arrived, followed quickly by Odin for his nookie, and off he went again. Connection has dropped again..., but EJ is still standing where she was before the 'intrusion'.

I love this bird. I bet she's realised the second she starts laying eggs the rampant mating will stop.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Her feathers are looking so beautiful in the evening sunlight:
She's calling gently.
Oh, for goodness' sake - not again!
Well, at least we now know why she was calling.
She has flown:
Maybe the night shift will be rewarded tonight with EJ laying her first egg. :-)

She's back on the nest:
Truthfully, I wouldn't be at all surprised if this stunning bird laid her first egg tonight. Looking at the stats the time is right.
She's calling - gently, but persistently.
Odin arrives:
He has flown.....wait for it:
He has flown but she is still giving the occasional soft call.
