Another good day for EJ and Odin. Despite the wind the nest is looking better, with more soft nest material, and a new blog from Jen is reassuringly unworried about the PM hole. I was watching EJ working there this evening and was reminded of a past season when the nestcup was steep and deep - maybe the PM only nuzzled a hole that was already there.
I expect EJ to add to the good news from other nests very soon ;-)
It's a blustery, wet night.

A few adjustments needed to the big hole.
She looks quite comfy in there.

So we have two sitting, lotl and Manton Bay, just LG and Dyfi females to start laying. Must be soon for LG surely?
Well this is Odin's tenth day back so we're looking at Friday or Saturday.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
In the blog Jen suggests Saturday but she's not risking her cash betting on it.

EJ freaks out as the camera freezes:
That's better:
She has flown.
