Another good day for EJ and Odin. Despite the wind the nest is looking better, with more soft nest material, and a new blog from Jen is reassuringly unworried about the PM hole. I was watching EJ working there this evening and was reminded of a past season when the nestcup was steep and deep - maybe the PM only nuzzled a hole that was already there.
I expect EJ to add to the good news from other nests very soon ;-)
It's a blustery, wet night.
IMAGICAT
Odin clearly likes EJ's looks:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Our rampant male is back:
He has flown.
EJ has flown as well after looking beautiful for a while.

And again
Odin lands on the nest before mating this time, and has a little rest on EJ's back after.
EN when I first looked but EJ is back
And gone again
And back
