Another good day for EJ and Odin. Despite the wind the nest is looking better, with more soft nest material, and a new blog from Jen is reassuringly unworried about the PM hole. I was watching EJ working there this evening and was reminded of a past season when the nestcup was steep and deep - maybe the PM only nuzzled a hole that was already there.
I expect EJ to add to the good news from other nests very soon ;-)
It's a blustery, wet night.

Cannot resist posting the beautiful photo from the blog as it will be the only clear photo we see on here LOL....
Isn't it wonderful to see them both in all their GLORY!!!!

CLARE reminded me yesterday - it feels as though they've been here for a month :-) I don't feel as though I've ever seen them get off to such a good start.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good morning, all!
Odin arrives, followed by EJ:
EJ is as receptive as ever:
They have flown.
Is the nest the only place they mate in?
Odin is back and he's nestorising:
He has flown.
